HUB architecture This formed concrete retaining wall replaces a broken concrete rip-rap wall. Rainwater runoff from behind the wall is directed to a drain in the wall that pours into a planter. The fence is supported by 4x6 posts. Each post is bolted to custom fabricated, galvanized post bases that are cast into the concrete wall. Panels between posts consist of a frame with boards or a frame with a translucent image cut into plywood. Each panel frame is solid stock lumber milled from 4x6’s, with dado and rabbet cuts that form the joints. The boards are locally reclaimed cedar, milled to fit inside the dado joint of the top and bottom rails without fasteners or glue.
